Dr. Randy Naidoo, M.D., FAAP, ABIHM
Chief Executive Officer, Owner

Dr. Naidoo wishes that his bio was short, but that would be a disservice to all that have helped him along the way. His parents made the journey from South Africa in 1971 to create more opportunities for themselves at the time and for their children later. His mother chose Dallas instead of Toronto.

Born at Presby Dallas in 1976, Dr. Naidoo has seen the Dallas-Fort Worth area change from primarily a big city with several suburban and rural communities to a major suburban metropolis that has connected much of Dallas and Fort Worth to make it a population of millions where boundaries are no longer a concern.

Dr. Rahima Afroza, M.D.

Dr. Rahima Afroza came to the United States in 2006 from Bangladesh and had a successful journey in the path of becoming a foreign medical graduate. She completed her pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, TX. Being recognized as one of the best residents, she earned the Dean's Award for the ‘Outstanding Intern’ in 2010-2011.

During her residency, Dr. Afroza met Dr. Ralph Habersang, a pioneer in establishing a proper PICU in Amarillo, TX, as well as a primary care provider for almost all of the special needs children in the Texas panhandle area. He changed her vision about the future of general pediatrics and what a physician represents. She was taught to believe that a general practitioner should be comfortable handling and treating a variety of complex disorders. She believes that it is not necessary to have ten different referrals for ten differing symptoms.

Christie Potter, MS, RN, CPNP
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Christie was born in Las Cruces, NM in 1978. Her parents moved to Oklahoma when she was just two years old. Christie grew up just outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma in the small town of Owasso. In her younger years, Christie’s passion for children was always apparent, from volunteering at church in the children’s ministries to being the neighborhood babysitter and frequently being the nanny to her cousins when she was as young as 12 years old.

Chandra Garvey, MS, RN, CPNP

Chandra was born in Chicago, IL and lived in the Midwest until she was in the fifth grade. Texas has been her home ever since. She has had a love for children all of her life. Being the eldest sister of three, she grew up knowing what it was like to care for younger children. As a teenager, babysitting was one of her favorite activities. One family that she frequently babysat for joked that they paid her college tuition. She also coached a summer swim team through college while lifeguarding and teaching youngsters how to swim.

During the latter part of high school, she decided that the medical field was for her. Considering both physical therapy and nursing as she entered college, nursing quickly won out and she entered and graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a minor in Biology. While finishing her nursing degree, she worked at Children’s Medical Center in the PICU as a student. Upon graduation, she accepted an internship there and continued to work in that environment for the following six years. Those six years were filled with a lot of hard work, but the knowledge and experience gained there was priceless. Many families touched her life in so many special ways.

In 1997, Chandra graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Master’s Degree in Nursing along with her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Degree. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certificate Board and is a Fellow in the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners. She has practiced in several private practice settings in the area as well as in the acute care setting. Her special interest is in newborn care and helping parents adjust to life with an infant, but she enjoys all aspects of pediatric care. She is excited to be able to practice her role as a Nurse Practitioner in an environment that supports integrative care and a team approach with parents and families. It is a blessing to be a part of Shine Pediatrics!

Chandra lives in Plano with her husband, John, and their three daughters that keep them very busy. She loves running, scrapbooking, and reading, but her favorite pastime is spending time with her family. Often she can be seen volunteering at their church or at the schools that her girls attend.

Tiffany Hamilton, MSN APRN FNP-C

Tiffany grew up in Rowlett, Texas. As a teenager, she babysat frequently and volunteered her time working with special needs kids at Rowlett High School. During her senior year, she took a clinical rotation class and was able to shadow nurses at Lake Pointe Hospital to learn firsthand what it meant to be a nurse. While many of her classmates decided that nursing was not for them, this experience only fueled Tiffany’s aspiration to become a nurse.

She graduated from Rowlett High school in 2000, and that fall she began her journey into the nursing profession. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 2005. After graduation, she moved to Scottsdale, AZ. She began her nursing career at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, where she worked in the Trauma ICU and ER. In 2007, she and her husband moved to the beautiful island of Oahu where she accepted a job in a combined Adult and Pediatric ICU at Tripler Army Medical Center. During her time at Tripler, she helped to develop the Rapid Response Team, created and taught the neurological course for the hospital nursing staff and was on the air evacuation transport team. Her last 2 years at Tripler were spent working in the pediatric ICU, neonatal ICU and the pediatric sedation center.

She graduated from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa with her Master in Science    while completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Tiffany is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has always had a passion for working with underserved communities, which lead her to work at Kalihi Palama Health Center in Kalihi, Hawai’i. There she worked in adult medicine, pediatrics and women’s health care providing holistic care to a very complex and diverse population. It was during this time that she developed a true appreciation for homeopathic and herbal healing, as many of her patients valued this type of health care approach.

After having her first daughter in 2009 and facing opposition in the workplace to breastfeed, she made it her mission to bring attention to the health benefits that are derived from breastfeeding for both mom and baby. In 2011, she and four other women wrote and proposed amendments to the already written legislation that would better protect and provide more rights to breastfeeding moms in the workplace. She also became a board member of the Breastfeeding Hawai’i Coalition, continued to advocate for breastfeeding rights and provided education through community outreach. In August 2013, she was honored to be part of a small group of women who sat in Governor Neil Abercrombie’s suite while he signed into legislation the very bill (S.B. 532) that she had helped to write.

Tiffany was married in April 2005 to her husband and best friend. They first met as neighborhood kids when she was 7 years old and were best friends growing up. They have been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach (which she will miss now that she is in Texas), hiking, watching movies, trying new foods, reading, yoga, hanging out with friends and shopping.

After 7 amazing years living on the beautiful island of Oahu, Tiffany and her husband decided to move back to their roots in Texas. She is excited to be back in the community in which she was raised and where she found her passion to devote her life to providing care to others.

Rebecca Greco MS, RN, CPNP-PC

Rebecca was born and raised in Rochester, NY, where she earned her first degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Geneseo.

Her studies and experiences clicked in such a way that she desired to expand her capabilities to a more well-rounded healthcare acumen.  She then enrolled in the University of Rochester’s accelerated nursing program and quickly obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Rebecca spent her first three years as an RN in psychiatry.  During that time, she continued pursuing her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree at Stony Brook University.

Today, she finds herself in a much-welcomed new world (and weather pattern) in Dallas, TX. Becca and her husband recently welcomed their first-born son, just prior to moving, and are excited to start this new chapter closer to family.

Lesley Ross RN, CPNP

Lesley was born in Arkansas, but was raised in several different locations including Oklahoma, Florida, Louisiana and finally the great state of Texas.  While growing up, she always showed an interest in the medical field.  She took any opportunity she was given to read medical books when she visited her grandmother, who was also a nurse.  Lesley continued her passion for the medical field and helping others by volunteering for mission trips and at the local hospital in Tyler, Texas.

Once Lesley graduated high school, she completed her associate degree in nursing at Kilgore College.  While in college, Lesley spent time on the pediatric unit as a nurse extern.  After graduation, she trained in the newborn nursery and NICU.  Eight years later, Lesley decided to begin her next journey and go back to school to achieve her master’s degree in pediatrics.

Lesley married her husband, Robert, in 2004 and has two active boys.  Lesley says that her children have taught her more than she could have ever dreamed and have been her inspiration to become the person she is today.

Annalise Clayborne RN, CPNP

Annalise Clayborne was born in New York but arrived in Texas as quickly as possible. She moved to Austin at two years of age, grew up there and attended Westwood High School. Her interest in medicine began as a teenager when, while in high school, she visited the National Institute of Health. She was introduced to the field of medicine and, since that time, has had a passion for taking care of children. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Science in child development in 1999.  She then began working with children and families as the health coordinator for a Head Start program providing care to underserved children.  Following that, she returned to school to become a registered nurse in 2008 and immediately began working as a neonatal ICU nurse at St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas.

Annalise returned to the University of Texas at Austin and obtained her master’s degree in nursing in 2014. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care and has her certification through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. In addition, she is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
In 2014, Annalise moved from her hometown and settled in Frisco. She loves getting to know her patients and parents well and helping them raise healthy, productive young adults.

Annalise is married to Keith and has three children, Ainsley and twin boys, Kai and Kamden. She also has a Pomksy (Pomeranian/Husky) named Miko. She stays active in the community as a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and is a member of One Community Church in Allen.

Chika Ndukewe DNP, FNP-C

Chika Ndukwe grew up in Garland, Texas. From a young age, she grew to love the field of medicine. Her father was a pharmacist and mother a registered nurse. Her mother retired from Parkland Memorial Hospital in 2009 after 27 years of services as an associate unit manager in the newborn nursery. A love for pediatrics began when she would accompany her mother to work for Take your daughter to work day.  From that point on she knew that she wanted a career in the medical field.

After completing her first degree from the University of Houston with a bachelors in public health, she went on to pursue her bachelors in nursing from Southwestern Adventist University and graduated in 2011. In nursing school by far, her favorite clinical rotation was pediatrics. Her final summer in nursing school she was chosen to be an intern at Children’s Medical Center in the neurology department.  She wanted to continue to increase her knowledge base in pediatrics and chose to do her specialty rotation, the last semester of nursing school, in the pediatric intensive care unit at Cooks Children’s Hospital. She grew to love pediatrics and knew that she wanted to continue her career in that specialty.

After graduating with her Bachelors in Nursing, she took a job in the newborn nursery at Parkland Memorial Hospital, where her love for pediatrics blossomed.  As a registered nurse on the floor, Chika was not satisfied. She wanted to be an intricate part of her patient’s treatment team, alleviate some of their health concerns and most importantly build long-lasting relationships with her patients. This passion propelled her to continue her education to become a nurse practitioner.

Chika attained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Loyola University, New Orleans in 2016.  After graduation, she got a job in neurology, where she developed a special interest in the behavioral health aspect of medicine. During her maternity leave with her second child in 2017, she realized that she had a passion for lactation support and education. She started a lactation blog and business, Dr. Breast friend PLLC when she was on maternity leave.

She learned a lot during her time in Neurology but felt like it was not the best fit. She had a love for lactation and pediatrics that would not go away. When the opportunity to join Shine Pediatrics came, she knew it was God. She believes that her love for pediatrics and fate brought her back to her roots. She is excited to be a part of Shine Pediatrics and believes in what they do. Since her two children were born into the practice, she can attest to their philosophy, and holistic approach and knows first-hand the multitude of benefits. She hopes to be an intricate part of the treatment team at Shine pediatrics.

Chika resides in Frisco, Texas with her wonderful husband and beautiful young daughters Zoey and Adalyn. In her spare time, she enjoys hosting Bible studies, spending time with family, reading and hanging out with friends.
